Teresa Kulikowicz-Dutkiewicz, vice president of FOPnU, has passed away

With the great mutek, the late Teresy Kulikowicz-Dutkiewicz (1941-2022), long-term vice-president of the Federation of Polish Organizations in Ukraine, a great patriot and depositary of the Polish legacy of Lviv.
Teresa Dutkiewicz was born and lived in Lviv, she was a pupil of the Polish school named after Mary Magdalene. During the trial school trial, together with the teacher, he fought intensively for access to the 11-year-old school and all its rights, including the restoration of the patron saint of St. Mary Magdalene.
She graduated in “Glass Technology” at the Lviv Polytechnic and worked here for over 50 years.
She treated her activity as her passion. She was the vice-president of the Federation of Polish Organizations in Ukraine, and since 1993 – the editor-in-chief of the semen journal “Nasz Drogi”. Therefore, she understood the role of the media in cultivating and popularizing Polish culture, consolidation in old and contemporary Poland, in the system of Poland in universal history. She also belonged to the Association of Polish Journalists in Ukraine. She has been a laureate of literary competitions many times.
She remained faithful to the journal and her passions until the end: scenography, journalism and writing.
She has prepared an anthology of poems by Polish poets living in Ukraine “Where are you Ojczyzno …”, a book “Jubilee of Schools 1816-1996” and many other publications.
Her dedicated work for the work of the Polish community in Ukraine, as well as the river of devices from the Motherland, was appreciated and decorated with decorations:
– Medal of the National Education Commission,
– Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland,
– Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland,
– Badge of Merit for Polish Culture,
– Order a smile.
Ms. Teresa was all her life involved in the endurance of the Polish community in Ukraine. She will remain in our hearts and grateful memories, the memory of her life and work will be forever.
