La Foire internationale de Bordeaux mise sur l’innovation
No more flying umbrellas
Elisabeth and Marie-Sophie Tauzin wanted to combine business with pleasure. As summer is fast approaching, the two sisters from Lot-et-Garonne have presented their Poppy Beach. A very simple object that allows you to secure the parasol in the sand without it flying away at the first gust of wind. After digging a hole, the Poppy Beach is placed at the end of the parasol and then buried. Once covered with sand, it will no longer be damaged by the wind and will remain in place. Marketed since 2019, it is sold for 10 euros at the fair, against 11.50 € usually. Marie-Sophie is aiming for victory at the Gustave trophy to “reward this project and be recognized for all the work done to go from an idea to a concrete object”.
A jewel that saves lives
My Eli is the project set up by Ludivine Romary. This Bordelaise wanted to combine beauty and security with a customizable bracelet linked to a mobile application, sold for 95 euros (20% less during the fair). In an emergency, just press and the jewel can send five pre-chosen contacts the GPS position, a message, or even an audio recording of the assault situation. With a double-click, it notifies loved ones of your arrival at your destination.
Ludivine had this idea after being the victim of a fire in her home because “even in her cocoon, we are not safe”. She praises the bracelet’s lack of anxiety-provoking effect: “I can naturally put my hands behind my back and press the button without it happening. »
the Magic Thumb is a handle that will appeal to motorhome enthusiasts. It activates the automatic filling of the vehicle’s drinking water tank. The Girondin Julien Carpe developed it at home, in Nizan, thanks to a 3D printer in his home in Nizan.
