Israel launches campaign in the Netherlands to celebrate Tel Aviv Pride
The Back to Tel Aviv Pride advertising campaign kicked off this week and will be featured on digital billboards in Amsterdam, New York and London. Tel Aviv is gearing up for the arrival of some 250,000 visitors to the city for the annual Tel Aviv Pride, which kicks off on June 10 this year. The Pride is popular among the Dutch LGBT+ community.

The campaign is being followed across platforms and will be featured for the first time on the LGBT+ dating app Grindr as well as on Instagram, Google and YouTube. The campaign also promotes tourism all over Israel, announcing last week to abolish all entry measures by May 21. The digital advertising is in several markets around the world, including the Netherlands, the US, the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain and France.
Dana Gazit, director of Israel’s Ministry of Tourism said: “The reputation of the world’s most important cities for the LGBT+ community is one that we are all proud of, so it was only natural that we would support the event in the way it deserves.
We look forward to welcoming Dutch people from the LGBT+ community to experience Pride, but it goes without saying that Tel Aviv and the rest of Israel are welcoming and inclusive all year round.”
