Infanticide in Annecy: a call for witnesses launched to find the father of the deceased girl
Thursday, May 12, a ten-year-old girl was found dead in a family home in Annecy. The gendarmerie has just launched an appeal for witnesses to find his father, suspected of being involved in his death.
His 18-year-old older brother had the grisly discovery two weeks ago. On returning home, the young man discovers the lifeless body of a sister, born in 2011 and visible deceased by asphyxiation. The house had been partially burned but the autopsy concluded that the child clearly did not die from the fire but from mechanical asphyxiation.
An international arrest warrant is then issued against the father, a 51-year-old property dealer, who had been babysitting the children for a week. following a marital dispute and which has evaporated since the tragedy.

To find him, the gendarmerie launched an appeal for witnesses. He is described as being of “European type”, of stocky build, corresponding to 1.76 m and wearing “long chestnut hair” as well as “a long and thick slightly graying beard”.
