After the initial shock of the fight against corruption in education has passed, “sincere and gained education has begun to become more appreciated” in the Republic of Moldova – President Maia Sandu, speech at Harvard University’s Kennedy School

- According to a Kennedy School presentations, Sandu addressed a number of 609 graduates, from 37 US states and 86 countries, in the first such ceremony held with the physical presence of the onset of the pandemic. It was presented to the public by Dean Doug Elmendorf, who described it as “proof of being an effective and principled public leader, a role model for all of us.”
The President of the Republic of Moldova described how he assumed the post of Minister of Education and his own perspective on the fight against corruption in this sector, a fight that produced a shock: “After the initial shock passed, more and more voices supported us. - “My journey from Harvard Kennedy School has been quite intense. After two years as an advisor to one of the World Bank’s executive directors, I received an unexpected offer from the Government of the Republic of Moldova – to return home and become Minister of Education.
