La Fiorita and Tre Penne return to challenge each other with the Scudetto on the plate three years after the last time. On that occasion the title was assigned to Montecchio, where the club from Città imposed itself in extra time (3-1). Extra-time that cost the national laurel at La Fiorita also last season, when the Gialloblù of Montegiardino yielded to Folgore after ninety minutes without goals: that of the former Sottile blew the bank.
