Lavrov – Russia |
Moscow. May 25th. Interfax – Russia has accepted in good faith to fulfill its obligations on the supply of food and fertilizers, a sharp increase in consumption in this area, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“I would like to once again firmly assure: Russia is fulfilling and faithfully fulfilling its obligations under contracts regarding partial export deliveries of food products, supplies, energy carriers and other quickly consumed goods,” Lavrov said at a reception dedicated to the Meeting Day.
“At the same time, we call on our friends, the African Union, to persistently call for the abandonment of the illegal unilateral meetings of the West, which undermine the selection for international trade, transport and logistics infrastructure,” he said.
According to the minister, “the most suspicious suspicion” in this matter should involve UN Secretary General António Guterres.
“We know that countries of African descent are among the most vulnerable in terms of food security.
