in Dijon, “on more requests than offers”
In the Dijon agglomeration, more and more parents are having trouble recruiting a babysitter. The needs are very high and specialized companies are looking for dozens of people.
This is an ever more common scenario in the Dijon conurbation: parents who tear their hair out to find a babysitter, sometimes forced to adapt their working hours or put off RTT to take care of their children because they have not found childcare. “On many needs“, confirms Marlène Messagé, manager of the Babychou Services agency.
The Dijon agency is currently organizing a job-dating session, looking for at least 100 full-time or part-time babysitters, throughout the city and as far as Beaune. “We consider that we need at least five speakers per family, to compensate for the turnover that we can have with the students since we adapt to their availability: partial, private life…“
And the demand from families is constantly growing. “Dijon is growing day by day, more and more families are looking for home care because crèche places are becoming increasingly rare. Same for childminders. On a more asks than offers.”
If you are required, you can contact theBabychou agency. The contracts, in CD2I, are remunerated by the hour, at the rate of 10.97 euros per hour.
