According to what has been learned, the service developed by Poste Italiane “aims to respond to the personalization needs of the last mile”. Customers, for “all orders that do not exceed 50kg in weight”, can choose the delivery date and the most convenient pick-up location thanks to the service SDA Extralarge offering flexible solutions and services dedicated to the e-commerce market.
This is a solution that, thanks to the presence of Poste Italiane in the Italian social and economic fabric, allows Ikea to be closer to the citizens. To date, in fact, approximately “94% of Italians” are “no more than five minutes away from a point of delivery of the services of the Italian Post Office”. A figure which, the note from Poste Italiane always emphasizes, “measures the physical and digital network offered by the company which makes a series of services available to the citizens of Verona that can be used by all according to their needs”.
