Interfax – Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) Veronika Skvortsova called for regret over the possible withdrawal of Russia from the World Health Organization (WHO), noting that after some time foreign specialists begin to contact us and participate in the work of new expert groups.
“The opportunities in the WHO organization are actually very great, with the exception of the politicians who are at the head, there is a huge expert community, observatories in various areas. And, of course, our representatives of the Russian Federation are actively involved in all this. Organization of representatives, but we do not sell” – Skvortsova said at the unification of the Federation Council on Wednesday.
“On the contrary, I think that after some time they will come to us and participate in those expert groups that we will form around ourselves,” she added.
The head of the FMBA Russia was awarded for the period from 2010 to 2019 from among the WHO.

Earlier, Vice Speaker of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Duma was applying to the Duma for a list of proposals from the Russian Federation with the introduction of the organization to consider the subject of their denunciation.
“Russia withdrew from the Council of Europe, now the next step is to withdraw from the WTO and the WHO, which have neglected all obligations towards our country,” Tolstoy said.
