Galp opens its first independent store in Lisbon
Galp Energia opened its first “lojasmart store” in Lisbon, next to the filling station on Avenida Almir Gago Coutinho, in Lisbon, with a fully automatic operation, which allows consumers to purchase the products on sale without any interaction with employees. to Galp in a statement.
Sensei, who has also implemented a similar store for Continente, by Sonae, for the au rectangle project designed to create a small autonomous store of 20 meters for the sale of products created on a case-by-case basis.
The store has no customer service and has a network of installed cameras, sensors on the shelves and artificial intelligence equipment.
Customers who download the Galp application or scan the QR code at the store, remove the products from the shelves, automatically completing their purchase. The technology can be the payment made automatically, being associated with a credit card.
