Cologne – Because he is said to have poisoned three women with the rat poison thallium, the hygienist Manuel H. (42) must answer to the Cologne district court. The public prosecutor’s office filed charges, and the Cologne judiciary filed a request to BILD on Wednesday.
The “Rheinische Post” reported first. The nurse from Hürth, who has been in custody since December 2021, is accused of two murders and one attempted murder. One sees traits filled with insidiousness and cruelty. He also has to answer for dangerous bodily harm and an attempted termination of pregnancy.
The case
At the end of November 2021, Manuel H. (41) was arrested. The cruel assumption: He is said to have poisoned his wife († 35), his current girlfriend (36), her grandmother († 92) and his partner’s unborn baby with the highly toxic heavy metal!
Two of the women die in agony, his pregnant partner Yvonne K. (37), a high school teacher (37), survived the poison attack only because she could probably be granted an antidote. In March, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
It is not yet clear when the trial against Manuel H. will begin.
