Champions Hockey League: Salzburg and VSV know opponents – winter sports – ice hockey
The four representatives of the win2day ICE Hockey League know their opponents in the Champions Hockey League!
Champions Red Bull Salzburg will face Fribourg-Gotteron (Switzerland), Ilves Tampere (Finland) and Stavanger Oilers (Norway) in Group E.
In Group F, VSV meets Färjestad (Sweden), the Straubing Tigers (Germany) and Comarch Cracovia (Poland).
In Group B, Olimpija Ljubljana expects EV Zug (Switzerland), Grizzlies Wolfsburg (Germany) and TPS Turku (Finland).
In Group D, Fehervar faces Rögle (Sweden), ZSC Lions (Switzerland) and GKS Katovice (Poland).
Both the Slovenians and the Hungarians make their debuts in the CHL this season.
Four game days of the group phase will be held in September (September 1/2, September 3/4, 8/9/9., 10./11.9.), The other two in October (October 4/5, 11/12/10 .). The knockout phase, for which the group winners and runners-up qualify, begins in November.
