Boeing Smartwings started flying with an advertisement for Prague Airport
The non-traditional livery is intended to support the interest of foreign tourists in flights to Prague.
The airline Smartwings put Boeing 737-800 into operation in a special coating commemorating 85 years since the start of operations at Prague Airport.
“With the motive Prague loves you, we want to support the interest of foreign tourists to travel to Prague again. Livery will travel to dozens of destinations in which it will promote our metropolis for the next two years“Said Prague Airport spokeswoman Eva Krejčí.
The aircraft was painted at a British paint shop at East Midlands Airport, from where the aircraft returned yesterday afternoon. She flew to Hurghada and back in the evening, today she has a flight to Reykjavik. The plane is seventeen years old.
In the past, a plane with a special advertisement for a visit to Prague flew at CSA, when the capital paid for an unconventional marketing formula.
It is not public how much Prague Airport advertising will cost. “We will not publish a specific start with regard to the agreement, but it is divided into two years, and if we compare it with any other advertising campaign, in addition abroad, it is a very low cost. ” added Krejčí.
