They want to develop the Polish network of chargers. New operator. Exchange on our market
650 100 kW chargers are already underway, 1250 is to be delivered by the end of 2025. Power Dot wants to enter the still fledgling Polish charging market with impetus. The idea of this operator was supported by the French infrastructure fund Antin. The company has received 150 million for the development of their chargers.
– Poland will be for Europe in France after France, where we will locate some of our investments. We expect a large increase in sales of cars in the coming years, and the creation of new investment needs – for Grigoriev, responsible for the development of Power Dot in Poland.
The first devices are already standing, but their location may surprise you. They are not located above the ones that are most needed, but in large and small towns with public utilities. If necessary, these are supermarkets, but the operator also targets offices, cinemas, fitness clubs, clinics and restaurants. What’s more, they are to be erected approximately every 100 km.
– We want to be everywhere, where time and consumers go – we explain Grigoriev. – In order to be permanent charging, their constant and common charging, such as self-electric charging, the bigger, newer and older this time is now at our stations – convinces Power Dot in Poland.
The chargers that the company relies on are fast devices with a power of 100 kW. In the case of the Volkswagen ID.3 Pro performance, replacing from 10 to 80 percent. on such equipment it will take less than 40 minutes, for the Ford Mustang Mach-E it will be up to about an hour. There is time later with the one that we spend on purchasing research.
The rarity on the Polish market, in turn, is the method of settlement. While other operators focus more on paying by their systems for the use of RFID cards, Here the user can be the author of the power at the website of the terminal on the pay card. So far, such a solution was offered by EkoEN and Lotos. Power Dot also promises to connect to roaming systems (e.g. those made by manufacturers).
