WARSAW

The town hall will take part of the land from the RKS Okęcie club

Sugar Mizzy May 24, 2022

Warsaw partially voted the Workers’ Sports Club Okęcie on the right to use the land at ul. Radarowa 1. The reason was that they were used for commercial purposes without consent, the capital city hall was handed over. This is the end Ball – President of the Management Board of RKS Okęcie Stanisław Gajlewicz.

The City Hall wants to acquire the RKS Okęcie department of a part that the club has sublet for commercial purposes. It houses, among others WORD and a tennis club. As Jakub Leduchowski, the deputy spokesman for the town hall, declares that the recovery of the land will be available for the acquired sports and recreational rights.

Property at ul. Radarowa 1 has about 48 thousand. sqm It was handed over indefinitely at the RKS Okęcie hotel in the 1990s for statutory purposes. The club used it not only exclusively, but also free of charge. As Leduchowski pointed out, it is for precedents, because no other sports club in Warsaw has such selected conditions.

The City Hall established that the club over the years, without the consent of the Warsaw authorities, fully leased the land. “And this was a breach of the terms of use of the plot” – Leduchowski. He added that the club was not created to return the plot, but only a fragment that was illegally sublet. “The decision of May 23, 2022 on the partial termination of the right of use was preceded by an administrative explanatory procedure. For the standard procedure, implemented in accordance with the rules for handling public property” – he noted.

The city says that the club will still have a place to be, e.g. two football stadiums (including one with a 900-seat stand) and an office building with cloakroom and sanitary facilities. Until now, the club successfully operated only on a part of its real estate users, and its heal was clubed by another entity. So there is no time for a break in the space for RKS activities – believes the town hall.

“The area that will take us to the city to almost 5,000 sq m. There are, among others, the WORD and a tennis club. WORD uses this area without a contract. Two years ago it was spoken as a contract. We asked him to influence the WORD to move out. , but the city will repeat this area to us “- PAP, president of the board, Stanisław Gajlewicz. “Tennis club for sports activities and is part of the service activities” – she added.

Gajlewicza will be the end of the area, if you take the city away, it will be the end of this city. “We will lose rental income, it will mean that the club will have to balance financially and will have to announce or resolve” – report up.

The City Hall noted that the club only in 2021 received nearly 160 thousand. PLN from the municipal cash register, of which 53 thousand. zł from the district of Włochy. In 2022, the financial support granted to the club by Warsaw has already reached PLN 125,170.

“Annual budget up to a million. A total of 114 thousand of these cities plus 10 thousand for this city. For half a year, training at Orliks this year, we spent 200 thousand.” – stressed the president. “The city is the owner of the Orliks. So the city gave us 114,000, and has already taken over 200,000” – he summed up.

“The club can apply for a larger subsidy of your work and again” – spokesman for the town hall.

The president of RKS Okęcie, when asked what the money is spent on, calculated that, for example, in the installation of the equipment year, 30,000 for renovation, successively consequences at the station, installation at the station, for installation purposes, for water bills, for renovation purposes. “To see the proceeds from the action at the expense” – generated costs.

RKS Okęcie is not only football, but also blood courses. “We have sections of the 16-year-old Polish vice-champion in powerlifting, which has been registered, we even follow the appointed work places. We have places for training and our building is not available for that” – explained President Gajlewicz. “There are only two such sections in Warsaw, here and at Legia” – “Planning”. As each user has pointed out, this bet is up to around 60, which brings no income.

The team of footballers – seniors is the runner-up in the district league and is fighting for promotion to the 5th league. “We have 260 young students, the rest are seniors. Within 3 years the number of students has doubled from 120 to over 300. Progress is enormous ”- emphasized the president. “The kids want to play, but they have to have somewhere to play. If they have, I don’t know for a moment” – she added.

As the president pointed out, there is no politics in Warsaw, if it is about sport, there is no triple of values. “There are only investments, you can boast of triggering, for example, Skra. However, there are many small clubs of UKS, RKS, KS, there is no way to create a service with the service, there is no dialogue. Nobody will get with us, nobody is interested in the problems of small clubs ”- advertisement.

After recovering part of the area, the city declares itself to be WORD to another location. The area will be open to the public and intended for sports purposes. The allocation of places with sports and recreation goals will also be created in the emerging local geographical plan, which will perpetuate this character.
