The swimming pool at the school on the Green Lane in Prague 4 will be repaired for 135 million
The municipality will now find a designer in the tender. The cost of the project is estimated at 7.3 million crowns. The total repair will cost 135 million crowns. The swimming pool serves the school and the public and hosts training and sporting events.
“The aim of the reconstruction is to modernize the school and swimming center, which will meet current legislative, hygiene, safety and sports standards for recreational and performance sports,” the document approved by the Prague councilor.
It is necessary to replace technological equipment, installations and systems in the swimming area. The supporting structures of the basement and the first floor will be reconstructed, including the roof, the interspace and the ceiling structures. The so-called pool tub will be repaired. All floors and tiles will be replaced.
The facilities will also be reconstructed, ie changing rooms that know several layouts, new showers and toilets. The sauna will be repaired, as well as the cashier’s, locker rooms and lifeguards, and the stands will be repaired.
The swimming pool measuring 18 by 25 meters is also used by pupils and employees of the local kindergarten and primary school, sports clubs and the public. There are swimming lessons, rescue courses, diving courses, freediving. The space is also available for aquabels, underwater hockey or swimming for seniors and kayaking.
