reopening of the Halle Molière gallery this Wednesday, May 25
Life will (almost) be able to resume its normal course in the Chemin Vert district in Caen. It has been official since this Tuesday, May 24 and the decision rendered by the safety commission, after its visit at the beginning of the day in the shops and the gallery of the Halle Molière -which represents a dozen shops-: the gallery will resume service this Wednesday, May 25. It will be this Friday, May 27 for the bakery-pastry, the course of the halls and the tobacco-press L’Entracte – time to restock –, after being forced to remain closed for more than two weeks. Exotic Market will welcome customers again, starting Tuesday, May 31. Only businesses that have not yet been cleaned – Le Cosmos bar and Centr’Optique – or which will have work – computer repair – cannot reopen immediately. At the root of this situation, the fire of May 10, which caused a major release of smoke and which mainly destroyed the shoe repair of the Chemin-Vert shopping center -the shop had then been closed for a good week, due to a judicial liquidation-. The fire was of electrical origin. It remains to be seen whether or not he left the shoe repair shop. An investigation is underway.
