News in brief: easyJet is downsizing in Berlin, new store at Zurich Airport and more
Save on computer: The menswear brand TBô, controlled by its community, will open a three-month concept store in the Circle at Zurich Airport in June 2022. In cooperation with Flughafen Zürich AG, visitors can get to know the products from TBô and help design a four-piece travel collection. This will then be produced in a limited series and can be pre-ordered in the concept store or purchased online in the TBô webshop, Zurich Airport is now announcing.
First flight: The first Condor flight DE2080 from Frankfurt to Los Angeles took off at noon today. On board the aircraft, registered D-ABUP, were around 200 passengers who were making their way to the west coast of the USA. According to the airline, the route will be flown three times a week with immediate effect. A Boeing 767 will be used in the usual three-class configuration.
Reduction: easyJet is downsizing at its Berlin location. The airline will withdraw machines and staff from BER. According to media reports, the main reason for the withdrawal is an increased airport fee at BER. Up to 275 employees are to leave Berlin.
Founding: The Lufthansa Group has founded the company “Flugverkehrsbetrieb München GmbH” in Munich. According to the insider magazine “FVW”, this is supposed to be a new city line. Flight operations are scheduled to start in 2023.
