Lisbon City Council works files held on suspicion” from “Lisbon City Council Works Files”
Judiciary Police searches the municipality and the domicile of suspects who had the property “relevant evidence”
The Judiciary Police detained two inspectors from the Lisbon Chamber’s works division for force “discoveries”, out of a total of three, announced the PJ.
During the “embargo operations” operation, house searches were also carried out and no households were collected at practical work stations in the municipality, “having collected relevant evidence, as well as large amounts of cash”.
One of the suspects was detained “in compliance with compliance”.
“The action took place in the city of Lisbon and aimed at monitoring a meeting, previously scheduled, between inspectors at the Inspection Unit and a citizen, a work in progress in the city of Lisbon”, explained the Judiciary Police.
At stake are “the suspicions of the cause of crimes of division of the division, allegedly of the practice of tax crimes by the Lisbon City Council”.
The detainees will now be presented for first interrogation at the Lisbon Central Criminal Investigation Court, for the application of cooperation measures deemed convenient.
The Judiciary Police also informs that the investigation is still ongoing.
