BORDEAUX

Les lauréats des « Trophées de l’Œnotourisme » 2022 Terre de Vins » La lettre économique et politique de PACA

Sugar Mizzy May 24, 2022

On Monday May 23 at the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, Terre de Vins, in partnership with a selection of players from the wine and tourism sector, presented the 2022 Wine Tourism Trophies.

The award ceremony took place in the presence of the winners of the trophies, as well as the partners of this fourth edition: Atout France and its Wine Tourism Division, Crédit Agricole, the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Provence, Vatel Bordeaux / International Wine & Spirits Academy and Rue des Vignerons.

This year, the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal awards are disappearing in favor of two new awards: “Exceptional Experiences” which aim to reward major properties and “Remarkable Experiences” for properties intended for more confidential properties. There are therefore now two prizes per category and 18 winners (instead of 27 in previous editions). The differentiation and selection criteria now take into account new parameters such as, among others, the price or the number of employees of the different offers and structures.

• THE 18 WINNERS OF THIS FOURTH EDITION

340 files were received and completed, divided into nine categories, in order to designate the 2022 winners. Among the 11 wine regions represented, two of them stand out: the Bordeaux region with six medals and the Provence-Alpes-Côte- d’Azur with three medals.

All the winners are the subject of a detailed presentation in the Oenotourism Special Edition of Terre de Vins, on newsstands on June 1st. The winning properties in each category will also be included for a year on the Rue des Vignerons site, which lists the best wine tourism experiences throughout France.
