AS Monaco Mercato: Oleg Petrov replaced by Witt
There are already changes in the organization chart of AS Monaco. While the transfer window in France now opens its doors on June 10, the president of the Monegasque club, Dmitry Rybolovlev, wants to reorganize his club internally before working on the recruitment of new players. The president of the ASM has thus decided to dispense with the services ofOleg Petrov. The latter was removed from his post. He is no longer the vice-president of AS Monaco, which was quick to find his successor.
The Russian leader was replaced by Jean-Emmanuel de Witt. “AS Monaco’s Board of Directors has confirmed the arrival of Jean-Emmanuel de Witt as Chief Executive Officer, following his appointment by President Dmitry Rybolovlev”, can we read in the press release of the club. The new general manager of the ASM will be in charge “operational and integrated management to increase the Club’s income. All services will be under his responsibility, with the exception of the sports management”.
Paul Mitchell confirmed in his post, Man United confused
Nevertheless, Oleg Petrov will always be present in the organization chart of AS Monaco. The Russian leader received the functions of a member of the Board of Directors and Vice-President of the club. The Monegasque management also ensures that its sports director, Paul Mitchellwill be at his post next season on the Rock.
Former British midfielder, Paul Mitchell was announced with insistence on a return to England. His name has been circulating lately on the side of Manchester United. Talks even seemed to be at an advanced stage for his arrival at Old Trafford. But the Monegasque sports director will not move this summer. He will be at ASM next season. Mancunian leaders will therefore have to turn to another track.
