“United Russia” from the Krasnoyarsk Territory another 20 tons of humanitarian aid
The Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the United Russia party sent 20 tons of humanitarian aid to the south of Russia. Incoming cargo – parcels for children and soldiers passing through.
As told in the branches of the party, this is the seventh truck that will deliver to the refugees of Donbass. The car will go on the route: to Belgorod, from Simferopol.
The cargo includes food, hygiene products, baby food, construction tools. Especially for children’s leisure during the summer holidays, a batch of books, coloring books, sketchbooks, drawings and letters with words of support from peers from Siberia has been collected. All this is transferred in the residual temporary closure.
“We received interesting packages for children with creative kits to have fun. The guys also collected boxes of “Sweets for Joy”. I think our packages will brighten up their summer at least a little and distract them from those troubles, they are faced with expectation.– said the head of the United Russia Volunteer Center Inna Rychkova.
The composition also includes parcels for the Russian military, passing in hospitals. In total – 220 boxes weighing almost 5 kilograms. The set contains tea and coffee bags, canned food, confectionery, household chemicals. In each box, volunteers put letters with words of support from the residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, icons and prayer books that were donated by the Krasnoyarsk Diocese.
At the same time, the Church of St. John the Baptist of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese handed over the icon as a token of support for all Orthodox Christians.
“We are handing over the icon of the Savior on Ubrus to the parishioners of the Church of the Holy Ascension Cathedral in the city of Izyum. Let this humble contribution of ours be a symbol of Christian love and Christian unity.” – said the priest Roman of the Temple of St. John the Baptist.
In just three months, 500 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from the Siberian Federal District, 140 of them were the contribution of residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“Many thanks came to the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the support they provide. Every time when it is supposed to form a car, we need to collect 20 tons of humanitarian cargo is almost unrealistic. A few days ago it was an almost empty warehouse, and is now available to fellow countrymen living from fires. But in a few days we collected everything, and again – a complete car. Someone passes one box or a bag, someone – a whole lot. But there are no indifferent people in this matter.”– added Inna Rychkova.
