SAN MARINO – The season of Svethia Recanati ends at the Acquaviva of San Marino and gives 69-62 to the Titano. Biancoazzurri who then fly to the final where we will find Montemarciano good at overcoming Urbania. Princes and companions did not succeed in the umpteenth enterprise but the convinced applause of the numerous Leopardi supporters certified an enviable commitment and attachment. It was another great battle in Race 5 with a never tame Svethia, capable of recovering the -19 in the second quarter and returning to -2 in the very last moments.
Hot start in the stands and on the pitch, crazy intensity and unleashed attacks. Scrapes and Soaps in a day of grace Titan shores against a Chiorri on fire that keeps the Svethia afloat. At 10 ‘it is 19-17 San Marino with the Doric guard capable of an impossible triple. The second quarter is a bullfight, the referees lose the key and the game turns nasty. Recanati undergoes a terrible break: 22-5 with a shower of triples and a high-spirited Liberti who scored eight points in one amen. It seems the de profundis for Padovano’s team, but only apparently because a super Ottaviani comes off the bench and slowly the Leopardians return to the waterline. At the interval it is +13 San Marino (45-32), Recanati breathes.
The hosts pushed the accelerator again and touched +18 again (60-42) thanks to Fornaciari’s counterattack and yet another triple from Raschi. Game on ice? Not at all, Svethia re-emerges once again and at the end of the fourth it returns to -12 (61-49). Bartolucci and Pezzotti play the charge, yellow and blue at -6 (61-55) at the dawn of the last set. Macina is hot, Chiorri and Peric also and guests increasingly close to the blue-whites (63-60). It is the final point to point, yet another of the series. We enter the last sixty seconds with Raschi’s two free throws giving him +5 (67-62), Recanati is exhausted, San Marino careful in defense closes at 69-62 with the two personal Altavilla.
Good luck in San Marino for the exciting final with Montemarciano, for Recanati open-stage applause and a general enthusiasm from which to start again with enthusiasm in September
