Prague is looking for a new voice for trams and buses. It will be selected by people in the survey
The Prague Transport Company is seeking a new vote to announce tram and bus stops. The passengers themselves can choose in the survey. One of the four announcers will persuade about 10,000 names of stops.
The choice of a new vote was supposed to start two years ago, but covid-19 came into play. The Transport Company of the Capital City of Prague (DPP) has now launched on its own web a poll in which passengers can choose from four votes.
Passengers can already meet the test votes on some tram and bus lines. Passengers can vote until June 19, 2022.
“The transport company addressed dozens of professional moderators, guys, women and men, who made up the votes for the traffic report. Dozens of candidates and candidates got to the semifinals, and the expert jury then selected four votes for passengers to vote for now,” the transport company spokeswoman explained. Aneta Rehkova.
The voice that people choose will have to speak all the reports and names of stops that sound not only in Prague buses and trams, but also in suburban lines. This is about 10,000 recordings. The new voice should be heard on all lines for the first time this autumn.
