KAMAZ at the summit “Russia – the Islamic world: KazanSummit 2022”

Top managers of KAMAZ took part in the program of the 13th economic summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022”, which, in terms of importance, fell on the share of Tatarstan.

The grand opening of the XIII Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022” was held in Kazan on May 19. As the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted, the Kazan summit is the main platform in Russia for economic regions and countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Its main goals are the development of economic, trade, socio-cultural ties between the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. Over the course of three days, the event was attended by representatives of 65 countries and 55 regions of the Russian Federation.

After the completion of the opening and inspection of the exhibition dedicated to the summit, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, held the main meetings with general circles in the Republic of Senegal. In the course of business communication, the families and the progress of the construction of the KAMAZ assembly plant in the country and the likelihood of the appearance of KAMAZ vehicles. Important meetings with the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan also took place. The focus was on plans to upgrade the fleet of trucks, special equipment and purchase buses.

The parties discussed the forthcoming delivery of KAMAZ-6282 electric buses for testing in operation.

In the afternoon, top managers of KAMAZ took part in negotiations on the prospects for the supply of vehicles in honor of Bahrain and closed the meeting of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Words of Foreign States in Russia, where the KAMAZ presentation was presented.
