Innsbruck celebrates new Spar supermarket in Campagne-Reichenau – mnews – medianet.at

Sugar Mizzy May 23, 2022

INNSBRUCK. A smart part of the city: The first part of the newly developed Campagne-Reichenau district center opened on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Spar is there as a local supplier right from the start: on the ground floor of the new residential building, the Spar team invites you to relax and enjoy a meal on a spacious 600 m². The focus is on fresh food and fine specialties with a first-class price-performance ratio. At the same time, there is an extensive range of Tyrolean products and snacks to go. The new supermarket is one of 18 Spar locations in Innsbruck – and the whole city is celebrating.

Affordable living, working and shopping under one roof: This is how sustainability works and this is exactly what is possible in the Campagne-Reichenau district center in Innsbruck. With the new, energy-efficient supermarket right on Radetzkystrasse, Spar is part of a multifunctional space. The Campagne area is designed as a new city district with a total area of 84,000 m². The first to open on May 19 was a residential building with over 100 affordable apartments, office space, a crèche and Spar as a local supplier. By 2025, a total of around 1,000 apartments are planned under the Neue Heimat Tirol project development.

In the new heart of Reichenau
The people who live or work in Reichenau are looking forward to their new food El Dorado: Instead of the previous local Spar supermarket on Radetzkystraße, the new 600 m² supermarket is opening on the ground floor of the new residential building in Campagne, just 150 m away -Area. If you don’t come on foot or by public transport, you can park for free in one of the extra-wide parking spaces in the underground car park while you’re shopping for groceries. “Welcome to the most modern Spar in Tyrol: Our resource-saving supermarket here in the heart of the campaign stands for even more freshness, even more local specialties and even more products for everyday needs – and all that at a first-class price-performance ratio,” says Patricia Sepetavc, Managing Director for Spar Tirol and Salzburg. And the whole of Innsbruck is celebrating: All 18 Spar, Eurospar and Interspar are offering the opening offers.

All signs point to enjoyment and Tyrolean regionality
The range is geared towards enjoyment: delicious wines in an extra-large wine department, fresh self-service fish and Tann fresh meat 100% from Austria await the customers. There is also a selection of “hot-to-go” products such as crispy grilled chicken, sushi, coffee-to-go and an orange press for squeezing the juice yourself. As a further extra, Spar offers a party service with party pretzels and delicatessen platters to order. The Tyrolean regionality is the trademark of Spar – and you can also discover it here. The Wachtler bakery, for example, delivers fresh bread and pastries every day from neighboring Neu-Rum. The Spar own-brand products also score with their first-class price-performance ratio: the range extends from inexpensive S-Budget products to Spar Natur*pur organic products through to special specialties from Spar Premium.

Friendly team and attractive opening times
Under the leadership of store manager Sandra Schweppe and her deputy Elfriede Schmidl, 20 employees work in the new Spar, including three apprentices. The opening hours are also customer-friendly: The Spar in Campagne-Reichenau is open from Monday to Friday from 7.15 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7.15 a.m. to 6 p.m. (red)
