Austrian Airlines resumes seasonal Vienna-Los Angeles flight
Austrian Airlines has restored the Vienna-Los Angeles route, with five weekly flights rising to six from July, operated with a Boeing 777. The flights will be active until mid-October.
“With Chicago, Washington and two airports in New York, we are already very well represented in the eastern United States – states the cco of Austrian Airlines Michael Trestl -. The metropolis of Los Angeles, which has one million inhabitants, is a tourist destination for many Austrians and a hub for connections with our partners. Therefore we expect a balanced number of local and transit passengers, who will connect to Vienna ”.
“Los Angeles is a big city and the perfect starting point for traveling on the west coast of the United States – adds Julian Jäger, joint CEO and coo of Vienna Airport -. Flights to the United States are generally very popular and I am delighted that after two years of the pandemic, the flight schedule has again been extended to include more than five weekly flights to Los Angeles to New York, Newark, Chicago and Washington. “
