Athens is no longer asleep – Snapshots in the heart of Saturday night
Clubbing – Festival
If anything we expected something to come out of the ice of covid and now it seems to do it emphatically, these are the lives. The artists who kept their presentations for the post covid era continue the sold out appearances, the designs are now done normally, with the program of party spots promising strong live nights in the city. T-shirts with prints, seals and bracelets give color to our evenings again, at a time when people now follow even more faithfully specific musical genres for their entertainment. From the rap element to the electronics and techno, the faithful carefully choose the places and the events and have fun selectively with what they consider targeted quality instead of a “where it takes me”. The micro-clubbing scene was also on the rise before the pandemic broke out. The smaller shops to which people turned to party continue to have their patrons, while the big stages of the festivals, which were filled in zero time, return with noise. So this year, this summer is predicted after two years of setbacks for the organizers, enthusiastic. The names that come to the line up of the biggest festivals in Athens have to rekindle the flame of the festival audience.

Full of narrows, full of squares, full of streets
If the squares were filled in quarantine and became the phenomenon of an era that established the drink, the bench and the kiosk in hand as a basic socialization solution, their choice continues to work despite the large focus of focus this spring. From Agios Georgios in Kypseli to Varvana the weather has the world in its favorite outdoor places. At the same time in Psyrri, empty quarantine streets look suffocatingly like groups, while drivers looking for parking are flooding Piraeus and the main streets. In the subway, the decorated ones, ready to go out and the laughter from the little ones who have already entered the vibe of Saturday night, give life to the trains. The crowd conquers the city as soon as the lights go out in their own way.
