ANFIA, the Public Assembly between present and future in Florence – ANSAcom

With one eye on the present and one on the future of the automotive sector, ANFIA is preparing to take stock of the annual Public Assembly. The appointment is scheduled for Tuesday 31 May at 10.30 am, at Palazzo Vecchio, where the National Automobile Industry Industry Association, which represents, in Italy, the entire automotive production sector, will sum up with an event in the form of a conference and from the theme ‘Moving in the 21st century: whatever it takes – The automotive sector between sustainable development, energy transition and new international balances’.

The event will be an opportunity for discussion between associated companies, stakeholders and institutions, just to do the associative activities, but also point to a focus on the central issues in the sector relating to the evolution of the sector relating to the evolution of the post-pandemic to the crisis logistics and raw materials, up to the economic, financial, commercial and industrial repercussions of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The event will be opened by the Mayor of the Municipality of Florence, Dario Nardella, followed by the intervention of the President of ANFIA, Paolo Scudieri, who will illustrate ANFIA’s vision on the technological transition and the achievement of the objectives of the European Green Deal. Paolo Magri, Executive Vice President of ISPI, will instead deal with the current geopolitical scenario. In the following round table, space will also be given to Paolo Scaroni, Vice Chairman of Rothschild & co and to Bernardo Mattarella, Chief Executive Officer of Banca del Mezzogiorno-Medio Credito Centrale. The final speech will be entrusted to Giancarlo Giorgetti, Minister of Economic Development.
