New customs points are requested between Romania and the Republic of Moldova / “Customs have remained in complete disrepair, the approaches are absolutely inadmissible for 2022”
The chairman of the Agriculture Commission of the Chisinau Parliament, Vladimir Bolea, requested the Romanian authorities to amend the legislation and establish common customs points between Romania and the Republic of Moldova, informs the Rador Press Agency.
The deputy claims that approximately 70% of Moldova’s exports by sea are affected by the war in Ukraine, and Romanian prints The Republic of Moldova exports a maximum of 23% of its products.
“This is happening only because of the existence of administrative obstacles and we are talking about the Moldovan-Romanian customs, which are small, undeveloped, evolved and more than that, we do not have a very small number of bridges. Customs has been completely abandoned, the approaches are absolutely inadmissible for 2022 and obviously we want the approach to take place through practice. That is, we do not want to ask the Romanian Parliament, if legislative acts do not allow to change the law, for customs from the Romanian or from the Republic of Moldova to cross the Prut and vice versa, to be common customs, to be able to streamline traffic “, says Vladimir Bolea. .
Chisinau MP Vladimir Bolea also said that the European Union has not yet fully opened its doors for Moldovan products.
