Exit in Haute-Savoie. Bing! Slam! Boom! for the concert of stiff heads in Annecy
After the Wampas, it was the turn of Têtes stiffes, Friday, May 20, to come and honor a date postponed due to the end of the world. Initially set to headline the Attention les Feuilles! in October 2020 and undermined by a decree prohibiting the public from standing, the concert had been canceled despite the cost of the festival. And it was already full. The tickets remained valid for two years. Seizing a place was a miracle.
Stiff heads not even dead. And it’s been going on for more than 30 years. Christian Olivier directs his troupe with great fairground joy. Eight on stage, the group in its almost original version, Stiff heads in a furious madness. The jubilation screams the lyrics and “Gino” gets a long anthology version. The public is there, in a unique energy, in the sacred fire. “Ginette” is also present, so awaited. The lamp twirls between the group and the public. Instant incandescence.
And this concert lasts two and a half hours, four encores included. Stiff heads played its great themes, its classics, poets, rock, but also left a nice place to Bing bang boom , album released in 2021, disc of excellent quality. And then a final on whore whore the European anthem of Belgian singer Arno who left us last month. The old furry cats leave the scene, the tour bus outside purrs. At the bar we remake the world by sharing beers. People are happy.
