It remains extremely tight in the fight against relegation from the Landesliga West. Thaur slipped into the red zone after a 1:1 draw in Matrei, SV Landeck managed a 3:2 win in a very close game against the SPG Innsbruck West. In the upper middle of the table there was a 0:7 defeat for Wipptal FC Stubai – Stubai extremely effective in the end. Längenfeld defeated Reutte 4:1 in the top game – so Reutte lost contact with the top of the table. Leaders Oberperfuss (4:0 against Kolsass/Weer) and Absam (4:2 against Fritzens) don’t miss a beat. With four laps to go, Oberperfuss is three points ahead of Absam and four ahead of Längenfeld.

Patrik Drago with a hat trick for Stubai in nineteen minutes

Michael Schober, coach FC Stubai: “Around 500 spectators and fans at the Fulpmes sports field – a real spectacle and a derby in which we started with an unbelievable presence. Wipptal slept through the first twenty minutes, Patrik Drago was wide awake and let it rip in the 2nd, 9th and 19th minutes. A perfect start, then a balanced right party. of course But a lot of security in our game after the clear lead. With Simon Eberl making it 4-0 in the 49th minute, the game was actually over. Today it also worked out perfectly in the end – that was the big difference to the last games. And so it goes on. 5:0 in the 59th minute by Egemen Kahraman, the same player also made it 6:0 in the 65th minute. In added time, Daniel Muigg made it 7-0. With the exception of one goal, all goals were played very well and scored ice-coldly!”

Great morale from Innsbruck West

Sladjan Pejic, coach SPG Innsbruck West: “In the first half we put in a really bad performance in Landeck. Landeck more present, dangerous in the transition game, we complicated and imprecise – there was the worm in there. Landeck took a deserved 1-0 lead through Michael Albert in the 42nd minute – a wonderful long-range shot. In the second half things went much better for us. Unfortunately, after Ramo Buljubasic made it 1-1 in the 54th minute, we got the 1-2 eight minutes later. Simon Zangerl scored. But great morale from my team and Ramo Buljubasic equalized in the 71st minute. As a result, the game was in the balance – both teams could have taken the lead. Unfortunately, we made the decisive individual mistake – the 3:2 for Landeck in the 87th minute. We deserved to lose because the opponent simply showed more will to win!”

Best Player SPG Innsbruck West: Ramo Buljubasic
