Not so long ago, faithful observers of the falcon’s nest on the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science rejoiced at the hatching of the judge: Aria, Iga and Varso. Young Varso fell off the edge of the Palace of Culture

Faithful observers of the nest of Warsaw falcons noticed that on Thursday evening (May 19) after 20 a flightless falcon – Varso – fell out of the Palace of Culture and Science. A young bird fell from the 30th floor! Earlier, information appeared on the wanderer’s profile that the fugitive was wandering along the gutter. Unfortunately, the risky adventure ended very badly.


The information that the bird has fallen was confirmed by the “Sokół” Association. All the places where they might have been able to land have been searched, but it has not been possible to do so. Worse, the Association heard that Varso’s flight feathers had not yet developed, so the bird was unable to take off. The toddler tumbled straight down.

The Community Forum and Falcon’s Nest watchers do not give up. Members mobilize and organize a search campaign on Saturday (May 21), to which they invite all interested parties. “We will look for it in more additional places. We will search the park on Świętokrzyska. I invite everyone willing to take part in the search. Meeting at 12:00 at the intersection of Świętokrzyska – E. Plater streets (at the former Okrąglak, today Drunken Cherry).
