Ligue 1: Metz in Ligue 2, Clément and Monaco miss the Champions League at the last second
After Mbappé’s announcement, there were still decisions that had to fall in Ligue 1.
At the bottom of the standings, Bordeaux is in Ligue 2. In front, Metz and St-Etienne had to decide and if Lamkel Zé’s teammates took a slap at the Parc des Princes (5-0), Les Verts took a point in Nantes which allows them to play for their future in the play-off against Auxerre.
At the top of the standings, Marseille largely won against Strasbourg (4-0) and will finish second in the standings because Monaco, who were leading 1-2 at Lens, saw Franck Haise’s men equalize in the final seconds. Clément’s men will therefore have to go through the roadblocks (and could find the Union).
Rennes (4th after their 2-2 draw at Lille) will play in the Europa League while Nice will go to the Conference League. Here are the full results.
