Having been unable to take place in Paris in 2020 and 2021, the new Good Wines Only festival is now planned at La Défense Arena for 2024 by the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois. To develop this concept of music festival and wine tastings, the union of Médoc properties will validate regional editions. The first will take place for the music festival this Tuesday, June 21 in Bordeaux, at the Belle Saison restaurant, a guinguette on the right bank of the Garonne, indicates Jennifer Mathieu, the director of the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois du Médoc.
Organized with the magazine Land of Wines (Sud-Ouest group), the event will bring together 70 to 80 participating châteaux for tastings, accompanied by a concert by the Bordeaux group Granny Smith and DJ sets. Taking place during Bordeaux Wine Week, this event is part of the program for this new event.
Other regional events are planned for this Good Wines Only festival before its premiere in Paris, the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois is following a strategy of intensifying its communication with consumers. While B2C actions are maintained (training around the world, professional tastings at the ProWein and Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris shows, as well as in Bordeaux for primeurs and deliverables), contact with consumers should make it possible to support prescribers. “We are accessible wines, for consumption and not for speculation” underlines Jennifer Mathieu.
