Malta launches new brand identity
Incentives and Meetings, part of Visit Malta, is the new brand being launched this month as Malta continues to develop the MICE’s substantial business opportunities that the islands have enjoyed over the years.
The Visit Malta Incentives and Meetings brand, says the Bureau, has partially been market researched and replaces the old Conventions Malta brand.
A new creative campaign will reflect the unique goals and outlets for the MICE product in the Maltese Islands, notes the bureau.
The new creatives were designed by the Malta Tourism Authority’s global agency OLIVER Ireland and feature a gallery of varied images and video content, reflecting Malta’s core business offerings and values. of the MICE. This new image was created during an 11-day shooting in Malta in March.

Visit Malta Incentives and Meetings director Christophe Berger said: “We have invested considerable research time looking at our brand positioning and believing that alignment with the Visit Malta brand and its core core values, it was the most sensible step I took. Malta has a great offer for incentives and meetings and we look forward to continuing to actively promote Malta in the international market.
“Malta International Airport’s connectivity has returned to 85% of what it was in 2019 (and is growing) and the islands have just been included in the Forbes Star Award program. Malta’s gastronomic offer has been growing rapidly and you can now boast five Michelin-starred restaurants. We are excited for the future, especially as we see important organizations bring their meetings and conferences to our islands in the coming months. ”
Meetings and incentives generate significant off-season traffic for Malta and this is in line with the strategy to improve the spread of the more sustainable tourism and industry season. “This niche fits perfectly as our tourism industry continues on the path to recovery to achieve long-term sustainability,” said Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo.
Visit Malta Incentives and Meetings will attend major IMEX industry exhibitions in Frankfurt 31 May-2 June; IMEX America 11-13 October and IBTM in Barcelona, 29 November – 1 December.
