Long Night of Research great success again – University of Innsbruck
There was science to touch again today at the “Long Night of Research” in Tyrol. 14,000 visitors took the opportunity to experience science and research up close in Innsbruck and the surrounding area, Kufstein and East Tyrol. At the University of Innsbruck alone there were 110 stations to explore.
May 20, 2022 was once again all about science and research in Tyrol. Many scientific and research institutions as well as numerous researching companies open their doors and provide insights into their exciting work. There were more than 400 opportunities to experiment, ask questions and engage in discussions with scientists. The 14,000 visitors take part in experiments, laboratory tours, workshops and lectures and have tried themselves as researchers. They also had the opportunity to ask questions that had been on their minds for a long time.
The universities (FHG, FH Kufstein, Uni Innsbruck, MCI, Mozarteum, Medizinuni Innsbruck, PHT and UMIT) and – coordinated by the Tyrol location agency – numerous companies offered a varied program. Tyrolean companies such as Adler-Lacke, Novartis, the AUDIOVERSUM Science Center, Bartenbach and the quantum startup AQT provide exciting and entertaining insights into their innovative achievements.
