From Mont-Saint-Michel to Giverny, the ISF Gymnasiade 2022 delegations » PACA’s economic and political newsletter
For the last day of the championship, the foreign delegations of the international school sport event, the ISF Gymnasiade Normandie 2022, will discover two of the jewels of Normandy.
Athletes whose competitions are over (archery, badminton, table tennis and wrestling continue on Saturday morning) will experience a wonderful day of discovery of Normandy’s heritage.
They are more than 1,000 registered for the two excursions offered by the National Union of School Sports (UNSS): one to Mont-Saint-Michel and the other in the Eure in the magnificent Claude Monet garden in Giverny then in Impressionist Museum.
It’s a moment of rest for young athletes, although walking around Mont-Saint-Michel, barefoot in the sand, or even pitching, can be sporty!
It is also for the UNSS and its partners, the local authorities in Normandy – in the first rank concerned, the Normandy Region – the opportunity to contribute to the cultural influence of Normandy and France.
Saturday evening, the closing evening of the ISF Gymnasiade Normandie 2022 will take place at the CID in Deauville, before the delegations return the next day.
