Zurich Höngg: Motorcyclist injured in an accident
On Wednesday afternoon, May 18, 2022, a motorcyclist fell in an accident in Zurich Höngg and injured herself.
Shortly after 4 p.m., the operations center of the Zurich city police received a report that a traffic accident had occurred in the Frankentalerstrasse/Regensdorferstrasse junction.
At the location, the emergency services met an injured motorcycle driver. The 60-year-old had to be taken to a hospital with unknown head injuries after receiving first medical aid from the ambulance service from Protection & Rescue Zurich.
According to the first findings of the Zurich city police, the woman drove her motorcycle on Frankentalerstrasse and further on Regensdorferstrasse in the direction of the “Grünwald” restaurant. For unknown reasons, she fell in the crossing area. The course of the accident is unclear and is now being investigated by the Zurich City Police.
The Accident Technical Service of the Zurich City Police was called upon to provide comprehensive photographic, dimensional and material evidence.
