The gravel cover currently in the sections will be replaced with asphalt and widened in places. Land reclamation, installation of metal culverts and other technical works are also planned.

The repairs, which will begin at the end of May, are scheduled to be completed by August next year. Paving the repaired sections on the road will significantly improve traffic conditions and safety, remove dust and reduce noise pollution.
