After the Vauclusien of Massy (Nationale) Jean-Baptiste Grenod, SO Chambéry, for what is already its eighth recruit announced for the next season, reinforced its third line, and more requested the wings of its third line with a pure specialist in position, Colin Lebian (22 years old, 1 m 88 for 90 kg).

The SOC went shopping, like many National clubs, on the Dijon side, demoted from this championship at the end of this season. Having already enlisted the experienced scrum half Thibault Dufau (ex-Provence rugby), and former captain of the Burgundy club, the Savoyard club has recovered the one who succeeded him in the role of captain at Stade Dijonnais despite his young age. Colin Lebian, who survived the whole season with his very good performances in Burgundy.

It is still in the ball player and runner profile that Ciryl Villain and SO Chambéry want to align and his game philosophy which has been so successful for him this season with a Top 5 in the regular season and a short elimination in Albi in the play-off on Sunday last (39-30).

Former international sevens in youth

Less powerful than Grenod, Lebian, originally from Yonne and trained at Migennes then at ABCD XV, before joining the Dijon training center, and spending four years there, is also a former international at VII, member of the development team (the tricolor youth team). For this pure Burgundian product, this will be his first challenge outside his region after five seasons in Dijon, and in total some 55 games played in the blue and red jersey (for 8 tries scored, including 5 this season in 21 starts ).

Pisano, Dufau, Dorrival, Sao, for three-quarters, Géraud Clermont (Macon), Jean-Baptiste Grenod (Massy), Luka Begig (Espoirs Racing 92) and therefore Colin Lebian (Dijon) at the front, Chambéry balances up to now recruiting to strengthen its workforce for next season. He has also extended 16 players from the squad for the season which has just ended.
