Pierre Baudis in the footsteps of his father in Toulouse
PORTRAIT – At 34, the son of Dominique Baudis – three times mayor of Toulouse from 1983 to 2001 – is running in the first constituency of Haute-Garonne.
The Pink City has therefore not finished with the Baudis. At just 34 years old, Pierre Baudis is running in the first constituency of Haute-Garonne, for the presidential majority. His father, Dominique Baudis (1947-2014), was elected mayor of Toulouse three times from 1983 to 2001, succeeding his own father at the age of 35, and was a deputy twice. His homonymous grandfather Pierre Baudis (1916-1997) sat in the National Assembly for twenty years and ended seventy years of socialist mayors on Capitol Hill by being elected under the centrist label in 1971 and 1977.
