Six street food stands will be available: Khuzama and its Syrian cuisine, Maryam for Iranian specialties, while Guyano-Central African cuisine will be represented by Ursula, Mauritian cuisine by Orane, Armenian cuisine by Nariné and Vietnamese cuisine by Lan.
Workshops and events
Two workshops will be offered to visitors to get their hands dirty: a vegetable dyeing workshop on textiles and an eco-responsible culinary workshop. Among the stands, one can discover Iranian spices, jams and juices from Bissap, Aleppo soap, wooden objects and furniture, not to mention graphic works, jewellery, natural cosmetics as well as clothing and fabrics.
Animations will be offered such as artisanal beer making, wine tastings, oral storytelling, a natural henna stand and an artistic workshop. A concert with Dawa Salfati, a singer-songwriter of Tahitian origin, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
2020, the social enterprise Marie Curry is developing several activities: eco-responsible world cuisine caterer to make the talents of these chefs visible and to offer them fulfilling culinary missions, a journey to culinary entrepreneurship to help them create and develop their upcoming independent business and, finally, the creation of a restaurant in Saint-Michel at the end of 2022 to offer their cuisine daily in the heart of Bordeaux.
