The man, in his 50s, had previously been convicted of racial discrimination in December 2020. In a press release on Thursday, the inter-municipal coordination office against anti-Semitism and defamation (Cicad) expressed its relief at the decision of the Geneva public prosecutor’s office. This has been active since 2019 this fall and has denounced many of the Holocaust denier’s writings.
The verdict was accused of several criminal offenses. Last he had in August 2021 a petition against a planned Holocaust memorial sent in Geneva to several Geneva cantonal parliamentarians. In this petition he rejects, among other things, an argument entitled “L’Holocauste est une fraude – La preuve par trois” (The Holocaust is a fraud – The proof by three”).
He also published articles on the Front National Switzerland website that denied the Holocaust and were anti-Semitic. The man also made himself punishable with his negationist, anti-Semitic and racist activities in various social networks.

Brewers and winegrowers are desperately trying to find glass bottles for their drinks. The fact that these have become rare is due to the end of the corona measures and the price shocks caused by the Ukraine war.
He has never experienced anything like this: “There are no more bottles,” says Alois Gmür, patron of the Rosengarten brewery in Einsiedeln SZ. Or at least not any more soon. “Everywhere you have to beg the glass suppliers on their knees and immediately give them the total annual requirement.” “Just in time” deliveries are no longer possible.
