Elijah or Berger will motivate children. They will go by bike from Prague to Split
Motivate children to move. This is the motto of the Bike Challenge project. This year is the third year of the cycling challenge from Prague to Split. Athletes and celebrities will cover 1,200 kilometers.
Patrik Eliáš or Patrik Berger want to inspire children. 75% of children in the Czech Republic have no sports role models. And the example that motivated them to move regularly is often missing in families as well. The fact that personal examples and role models can have a major impact on shaping a healthy approach to lifestyle and their impact on a healthy lifestyle tries to point out the participants of the third year of the Bike Challenge. Because of this, they cover 1,200 km by bike.
All participants will leave Prague and drive all the way to Split, Croatia. “We need to inspire our children a little. This is the most important thing for us,“says Sport2Life founder Mike Saran.”I look forward to it. It’s in great company and especially for a great purpose,“said the legend of the New Jersey Devils and Czech hockey Patrik Elias.
The former hockey player is a great lover of cycling and likes to take part in the Bike Challenge. But Patrik Berger and Šárka Strachová will also drive, for example. “Something needs to be done about it. My participation in the Bike Challenge is a tradition, I will ride this year and then again and again, because I believe that the idea we are promoting makes sense,“Said Patrik Berger.
The annual cycling call from Prague to Split, which aims to raise awareness of the damage that can cause our children to be addicted to digital technologies and poor nutrition, endanger their health and quality of life. The participants in the challenge, which are the founders of Sport2Life Mike Saran and well-known athletes such as Patrik Berger, Tomáš Grim and Patrik Eliáš, will cycle through 4 countries, cover 1,200 km and overcome 15 km. This year’s Bike Challenge starts on May 29.
