The police tracked down a drug dealer and were able to track down 22 customers by evaluating his cell phone.
In the course of investigations by the narcotics group in Flachgau (Salzburg), police officers carried out a court-ordered house search on a 22-year-old local in November 2021. The investigators seized over 3,000 tablets, 140 grams of herbal cannabis as well as cash and electronic evidence.
During the subsequent evaluation and further investigations carried out, it was determined that the suspect purchased over 6,000 tablets and other addictive substances from May 2019 to November 2021 and resold them at a profit. The 22-year-old also cultivated cannabis plants with three other suspects.

So far, 20 buyers in northern Flachgau have been identified who regularly purchased various addictive substances from the suspect. A total of 22 people were investigated.
When evaluating the mobile phones, chat histories and photos were also found, which are subject to the Prohibition Act.
