The Barcelona native set a record number of starts in the Spanish national team during her career (315). In addition to gold medals from the European Championships 2013, 2017, 2019 and silver at the 2016 Olympics, she also won silver at the World Championships eight years ago. She won a total of twelve medals on the international scene. The national team continued last year after EuroBasket, where they finished seventh.
In addition to a successful national team career, Palau has a successful career at the club level, where she has won the prestigious Euroleague twice. In addition to USK Prague, with which she triumphed in 2015, she also succeeded with Valencia three years earlier. With a total of 1353 assists, he holds the competition record.
Apart from USK Prague (2013-2017) and Valencia, Palau also worked in Barcelona, Bourges, Polkowice, Jayco Rangers in Australia and most recently in Girona. She also played here with the Czech national team member Julia Reisingerová. During her club career, Palau has won 14 championships and 11 cups and six super cups in various leagues.
