Russia is looking out for more than 30 French and 20 Italian diplomats
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a French provocation of protest in connection with the “main French authorities about the announcement of 41”.
“This step causes serious damage to Russian-French relations and constructive bilateral cooperation,” the ministry said.
In response, Moscow decided to send 34 French diplomatic missions. They must leave Russia within two weeks.
In addition to French diplomats, Russia must leave 24 cases of detention in Italy. In early April, Italy expelled 30 Russian diplomats. Italian Foreign Minister Di Maio linked this decision to issues of “national security”.
In response to the expulsion of 15 Russian diplomats by Denmark, the Russian Foreign Ministry declared seven employees of the Danish diplomatic agency persona non grata. The Foreign Ministry notes that “the anti-Russian policy of the kingdoms causes serious damage to bilateral relations.”
Also, the Russian authorities are expelling several employees of the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow. This is a response to the expulsion of 10 diplomats from the Russian embassy. In early April, Bulgaria expelled the first Russian embassy in Sofia.
State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the application of the application should be immediately dismissed by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell. The Eurodiplomat had previously announced that the situation in Ukraine should be resolved by the military, not verified. Thus, for the first time in its history, the EU emerged from a military conflict.
