More than 300 people took part in the action “Night at the Olympic Museum” in the NOC of Belarus
May 18, Minsk / Corr. BELTA/. The National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus has once again joined the international cultural and educational campaign Night of Museums, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.
About 300 people visited the Museum of the Environment of the NOC of Belarus. The participants of the action had the opportunity to see sports exhibitions and medals of major international tournaments, learn about the development of sports in our country, as well as communicate with champions and winners of the Olympic Games. So, trampoline player Ivan Litvinovich, mountain jumper Maxim Nedosekov and biathletes Anton Smolsky and Dinara Alimbekova spoke to the visitors.
“It is always a pleasure for me to communicate with the fans, especially in such a warm atmosphere – in the Hall of Olympic Glory of the NOC of Belarus. We have great fans, they asked a lot of questions, but I answered them all, we had a great conversation. from the meeting,” Litvinovich said.
“Thanks to the NOC of Belarus for such movement during the action. For fans, this is an opportunity. The exhibition at the NOC, we have something to be proud of,” Nedosekov said.
The event also became the champion of the 2014 Olympics in ski acrobatics Anton Kushnir with his family and medalist of the Games in rhythmic gymnastics Alexander Narkevich. Students from Colombia and Egypt, who study at Belarusian universities, also got acquainted with the exposition of the NOC Museum of Belarus.
The action “Night of Museums” was first held in Berlin in 1997 and received support in major European cities. As a rule, on May 18, museums are open all night. The NOC of Belarus joined the campaign in 2018, the exhibition exposition of the Olympic Museum is constantly replenished with items reflecting the latest sports achievements of the country.-0-
